video serieS: Intersections between theatre and circus
This video series examines the intersections between theatre and circus through five performing arts groups.
For this series I delivered the editing, animation and some filming and music composition.
What made this project interesting and challenging was that the material came from many sources. So to make them coherent wholes we worked with the director Tainah Dadda to keep the visual style similar throughout the series.
DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE
Domingo a Domingo
The documentary "Domingo a Domingo - As Mulheres do Espírito Santo da Calheta"
depicts the important role of the women in the festivities of Espírito Santo in São Jorge, Açores.
The documentary (12 min., Portuguese) is currently in premiere and will be available for streaming later in 2026.

This artistic video created for the theater show "Depois da Bruma" by A Costela de Lilith, was featured at the Montanha Pico Festival during the Sessão Videoclipes (Açores).

I have been composing and performing my own music since 2011. For years my music creation has been walking hand in hand with video art. I love to combine peaceful natural scenes with folky tunes and mystical lyrics. I like contrasts and play with melancholic and joyful themes. Like in life, where nothing is black and white, but moments are intertwined.

Creating music is at it's best when done with likehearted souls. Although the best ideas and inspiration are often born in the late hours of sleepless nights, they are elevated and crystallized with the help of friends, colleagues and community.
Our Finland based band explores life authentically and always with a touch of mysticism. The poppy folk melodies and lyrics are simultaneously approachable and a reminder of life's deeper levels.

We are an artistic duo living, working, and creating on the island of Flores. In our art, we draw strongly from nature, mysticism, roots, and community.
The miracles and challenges of everyday life, and cycles through which we as humans create a sense of being and continuity are reflecting in our songs, and visually in our music videos.

"I have been searching for god"
The piece is a biographical poem and composition of one's search for meaning.
The video is shot in Flores by Andreia Luis and Kukka Harvilahti and edited by Kukka Harvilahti.

as a mere shadow, myself,
that light casts beyond form.
A mirage of the mid winter sun.
As night falls
I dissolve into all that is."
